About the project
This site is part of an experiment for Sabrina's MSc GIMA research. The experiment is an effort to collect high quality geographical information about the buildings in downtown Oslo from volunteer participants and to observe what kinds of guidance they find most helpful to submit their information.
The site is built on the Ushahidi 'Crowdmap' platform, which allows 'the crowd' (you) to submit information about objects on a map by submitting a report. The map and the report are of equal importance: the map helps you to choose the right building and location, while the report allows you to give important information about the building you have chosen.
